Handling Instructions

To ensure the best taste and quality, please follow these recommendations:

  • Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

  • Remove your cheesecake from the refrigerator 20–30 minutes before serving for the creamiest texture.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container or cover tightly and refrigerate for up to 5 days.

  • Cheesecakes can be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before serving.

  • Keep cheesecakes out of direct sunlight and extreme heat, especially during transport.

  • For best results, transport your cheesecake on a flat, level surface in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Important: Cheesecakes are delicate. Once your order has been picked up or delivered, It's Just Cheesecake is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, transportation, or storage. Enjoy every bite!

Serving Suggestions

Cheesecakes should be served at room temperature. If frozen, leave the cake overnight in the refrigerator and defrost on the counter 3 hours before serving. Otherwise, defrost on the counter 4-5 hours before serving. Yes, it really takes that long. A few of our fruit items and "cakes within a cake" items are best slightly cool. These include cheesecakes such as the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Peach Cobbler, Banana Pudding Cheesecake.

Use a knife that has been dipped in hot water to cut the cheesecake. A chef's knife or cake knife works best. Wipe the knife with a damp towel in between each slice to ensure a smooth cut. Watch for fast hands trying to grab the cut slices! Enjoy!
